Selecting GROUPS from the System menu displays the Group Setup page. You can use the page to set up one or more groups for a selected fleet.
A group is a collective name for one or more personnel. For example, you could create groups named "Drivers", "Medical Personnel" and "Managers". Once you have added a group, you can assign personnel to that group using the Personnel Setup page.
Groups are used by Osprey personal trackers. If the operator of an Osprey selects a group when composing a message, the message is sent to all personnel in that group.
Note: You need to make sure that the codebook contains an address entry for each group you define. The name of the address entry must be the same as the group name. The default codebook contains addresses for "Group 1" and "Group 2".
This table is displayed if you select a specific fleet from the Fleets menu.
This table is displayed if you select All Fleets from the Fleets menu. The table lists the total number of groups assigned to each fleet. The table contains a GROUPS button for each fleet; clicking the button has the same effect as selecting a fleet from the Fleets menu.
